Re: EDGAR - ONE YEAR UNDER NEW COSMIC ADDRESS....

Just listened to Quantum Gate for the first time.

All I can say is that Edgar has been well and truly honoured by his survivors, and it is uncanny how he was speaking to me through this new release. Here's to many more instalments of the Quantum Years.

It's partly because of some of the above that this site has been vacated by too many decent members. I might join them if things don't pick up and all this pish is stopped..  Too right Sparrow, and my patience ran out a few months ago, sorry to say. There are people here who were bann...

I'd agree with Jean D'Arc, but also try Le Parc: an '80s album of shorter, more melodic tracks.

Also, any of the Booster series of releases is a good introduction to more recent music.

It's on its second spin now. There's only one track I don't really rate, and it's the REM one. So far, everything else sounds superb and it's going to get many more spins this year. :D :D

Clearly the lack of snow in Peterborough is not presenting a big enough challenge for postie to attempt delivery - 3 days to go and counting.... Yes, but the trains are broken! Still nothing here. Will be away for the holidays from lunchtime tomorrow, so will have to make do reading all your review...

I was out Christmas shopping yesterday and had to reward myself with a trip to Berwick Street. I was very pleasantly surprised to find Reckless Records had been resurrected, and gave me an opportunity to buy more digital copies of vinyl that won't fit on my MP3 player. Here was my bootie: Fourtet - ...

It has to be the first track on Stuntman most often, followed by Streethawk!

I also find myself humming a lot when I'm on my pushbike. Going West is a fave when I'm peddling away, more often than not it's the background rhythms and sequences echoing away in my head.
