Thanks Chris, once you're told the name(s) you tend to go "Of course" 8-)
Any idea where they were performed? Are they just the same versions from the Lisbon DVD mixed with different visuals?

Finally got the chance to give this a spin (been waiting since I bought it at the Lowry gig). Very impressed indeed, would have been nice to have the RAH on DVD, but as second bests go this is pretty damn good 8-) One thought occurs though; the bonus track(s) "Alley of Marvels and Tangerines&qu...

I'm really glad I bought a copy of IotF before going to the Lowry. I was already pretty impressed with it before the gig. Hearing Darkness Veiling the Night live at the end of the first set was absolutely incredible, certainly better than the CD version played through really good hifi. No matter how...

im gutted that the RAH asked for a HUGE some of money to film the concert. Such a great venue and im not sure how many times TD will play the RAH again...twice in 35 years so i cant imagine it been soon. three times actually Mike I'm guessing that after RAH's ridiculous fine for over-running ...

Re: If you had to pick one album only and one track only...

Hypothetical situation - you are going to live on a desert island and you can only take one TD album with you to listen to for the rest of your days! Which would it be? Further limitation - you can only take one TD track with you, what would it be? And why!? ;-) My answers? Easy!: Album - Poland Tr...

Hi 24db, no I have no idea why it has taken so long for me to see them live, other than a bit of a fear of big crowds and traveling (that would do it), I've seen Jarre 3 times recently and hes at the O2 in October, but now I've seen Tangerine Dream live I'm hooked, want to be at their next concert ...

nice to see a gig from 1978 on that list That's a no brainer. I've never been dissuaded by the opinions of any critic. TD were still a real 'novelty' away back then, don't forget. Maybe 'novelty' is the wrong word to use, but it's the best I can find. I didn't read 70's music rags and review...

Traffic & Singing ?

Just been watching some of the Youtube clips from RAH, what a damn shame there won't be an official DVD... Did you enjoy the Thorsten version of Satie with those wonderful traffic sounds woven in, or did they interfere with it for you? Me - I thought they really added to it :D What about Iris' singi...
