Sorry to thread necro and all, but I have just now discovered Dueren's album, and it is AWESOME! I was rather hoping he'd dome more than the one album, but sadly, this was not to be.

I still think TD should come to NZ.

Not sure if he was joking or just forgot which country he was in. Still, it's an awesome idea, TD playing in NZ.

Ooh, I know what TD should cover: "O Superman" by Laurie Anderson! Only TD or Lorde could do a decent version of that song.

What's the story with this one? I thought it was supposed to be out a year ago. Has the project been abandoned or something?

"Darkness Veiling The Night" is an amazing piece. It sounds to me like it would not be at all out of place in the soundtrack of a movie based on a Neil Gaiman story.

I find that with this album, I can quite happily listen to the entire thing, and then immediately listen to it all again. There's not many albums like that.

My vote (having arrived at this thread very late) would have to go to "The Island Of The Fay". That album is made entirely out of awesome.

was just now listening to Shy People, and I remembered something...

Dancing On A White Moon is even worse than Rising Runner.

Loved By The Sun is even worse still.

Could this maybe have been at least partly why they stopped improvising in concerts?

Hmm...I can't remember now. There was some talk of it for a while some time back...but now I come to think of it, I'm not sure how long ago it was.

Is Edgar still writing a book? Any recent news about that?

I don't know why, but I really do find the idea of Edgar Froese in a physical altercation quite hilarious...
