I couldn't help myself.. After reading this, I put it on ... it's months since I last listened... Excellent up to Pontchartrain, then depression. Why are the tracks beyond 7 filled with so much gloom? More noticable now. Get off the motorway and run around the country? It feels like treading through...

Great post David! I've always wondered as well, but I could never put it into words what you have made so clear to me. Although, I can understand why there is a resistance to this sacred knowledge. Upon this key time will slide, beyond each lock, you lose your mind So.... beware... :!: homeless

Keep the top row straight, add it to the front of the bottom row. 1101010010101001111001011001110101000 gives 114172933032 decimal... convert that to a bar code. http://www.upcdatabase.com/itemnotfound.asp?upc=0114172933032 Don't know if that means anything though....? ... follow homeless over the r...

On the bottom row of the album cover is shows 001011001110101000 ... the problem I see with that binary string is that you wouldn't add two zeros onto the left hand side of 1011001110101000 because, it's the same number! So, is the top, upside down row, which is 1111001010100101011 the first half of...

I hear this cupdisc every time I switch on the car ignition. That's a few weeks now, 'Sadness Of Echnaton Losing The World Child' is an excellent 'tune' of course but it's also 'fluff'.... (maybe a bad expression). It's carries a broad appeal. The top track is certainly 'Daughters of Time' on-par wi...

Quite remarkable isn't it, even in these ultra fast newsworthy data-streamed days of instant ' celebrity ' information that we don't really know what is happening to our fave band until many moons have passed. Hatches, matches and dispatches happen and we're none the wiser until long long after the ...

... I happen to think the guitars add a lot to the music whether its Edgar,Jerome or Zlatco.... Yup, to me, TD and guitars exist together in harmony. EF was a demon on the axe of course. To me, Bernhard seems to be constrained by EF. Very tight. The 'Z' man was more of a free spirit. homeless

My youth was deliberately eclectic in the 70's. Not satisfied with normal tunes force fed, I always searched for something new. Rebellious, just for the sake of it, I was different I suppose. My actual first purchase of a TD recording was 'Encore' on tape though I had a few 'borrowed' LP's of Rubyco...

Re: Springtime in Nagasaki- revisionist history?

.... In particular: "one of the most lunatic and barbarian war crimes ever done by mankind" Obviously, that's an anti-American comment. Subtle, but it's there... I had the same feeling within the first few seconds of reading the CD notes as well. I wonder when this would be raised here. H...
