Got the new LVE's the other day (from JPC in Germany, which seems fast en reliable. At least it was a good first impression, as this was my first order from them). Beautiful as always! Some really great concert recordings from the vaults of the 70's on these six CD's. And to learn that LVE 7-10 is ...

Well, it's interesting.
I rarely heard anything about Neuronium.... I think the only release I ever saw was the single with Vangelis ! Your post gives me the urge to listen to more of his stuff, which seems really hard to find on CD nowadays...

The booklet is packed with some photos, all carefully detailed in terms of location and time ... Sadly quite a few are wrong :( Yes, I seem to remember that a couple of indications seemed a bit odd to me... But I've never been lucky with informations about TD. I was buying the records since 1981 bu...

THe CD 5 of the Dreamroots Collection with 4 lengthy unreleased tracks penned by both Chris Franke and Edgar Froese is just excellent.. I really cannot understand why those tracks weren't released after they were composed. What seems a bit strange to me is that they are all longer than what TD used ...

After reading what Simon Raymonde said of Pink Floyd, a few months after that, I really lost interest in them. What was said about Pink Floyd? Oh, I shouldn't spread that gossip... I don't trust much the interviews but well, it was ages ago in Rock & Folk, a magazine that I had already ...

One of my favourites, certainly. It's the first side that really hit me deep. At the contrary, "Scuba scuba" is fairly "light"... not that great. The three others on the side 2 are good, but especially the first 2, "Dolphin Dance" and "Ride on a Ray". It was g...

Classic game, but not that easy for me...I tried to mix a bit of very old with less old...
For today that might be :

1- Rubycon
2- Stratosfear
3- Tangram
4- Poland
5- Underwater Sunlight

The two first ones will never change though.

I bought he original Emcore CD a few weeks ago and it is much better than the so called remaster. I have an original Tangram & remasterd version and they sound exactly the same..anyone else notice this? Ah, you make me feel like buying the original CD of Encore.... As for "Tangram"......

Is it a given that all the definitive editions sound better than the originals? I have remasters for a few titles and wonder if I should replace ALL of my originals. I don't know which ones you have already as remasters but for me, as regards the Virgin years, it's much better on the Definitive Edi...

My favourite might well be "Heaven or Las Vegas". I should buy that one on CD again. I used to like them, and in some way I still do, but I must admit that my fondness for the band has faded, somerthing that very rarely happened to me... I think there are several reasons. The two following...

I mistakenly played Ziet at 45 rpm. Didn't notice for quite some time. It actually sounded quite good. Ah ! As ashamed as I am, I actualy played and recorded the second side of "Le Parc" at 45 rpm ! I certainly pressed the speed button by mistake without noticing it. I used ...

TD - "Cool Breeze of Brighton" (the track)... These days, I really like this particular track, maybe not only because it's great, but because of the sudden heat wave ! Huh, good idea. I should try it too. A bit more synth stuff here too - quite refreshing : Klaus Schulze : La...

Nope, and so... what was the effect on you ? :)
I must say that I prefer the third and fourth part, by the way.
