Re: All You need is Love
I believe that is footage of their October 4th, 1975 show. That's the only time, as far as I'm aware,, that they were at Convetry Cathedral. I know a bootleg exists, but I have not heard it so I cannot confirm whether that was part of the show, or simply warm-up footage.

Re: All You need is Love
How far into the episode (episode 17 right?) is it? I know the one at 28:444 when they first come on is Ricochet Part 2.

Re: Early Tangerine Dream Vinyl Pressings Questions
I have Japanese "Ricochet", "Phaedra", "Zeit" and "Cyclone" as well as a French "Stratosphere". If you can't get a first pressing, I would personally say that Japanese are the next best, and French is not bad (definitely better than American)

Re: Tangerine Dream Fan Survey
I see it's there now. Is it you that posted it? Most active TD society that I know about, at least. :-) Yup. And thanks for the tip. There were more submissions in the first hour on there than the first day on here. At the current rate it looks like we will easily get a large data sample. The guy w...

Re: Tangerine Dream Fan Survey
That's true. Bt I'd even have a problem choosing - let's say - 20 tracks to compile a sort of "Best of". There's just too much top quality music there. :) For me a Top 20 would actually be significantly harder than picking only one. I actually have a clear cut favourite song believ...

Re: Tangerine Dream Fan Survey
I will take the survey later today, but I guess it will be hard, with some answers just based on just the current feelings towards albums and tracks (because that is dynamic and not static). Is there a deadline for answering if you will post the result? Yeah, there are a few tricky ones. As for the...

Re: Tangerine Dream Fan Survey
I considered doing a field for say, top 5 or top 10 songs, but since TD has hundreds of quality songs, I'd end up with a list of dozens of unique songs with little to no statistical valueMrCox wrote:.... favourite TD track? Which one of my a few hundred ones?

Grammy Awards
With the Grammy Awards coming up, I got into looking up previous events. On many interviews, webpages, and even on some album promotion, it is claimed that Tangerine Dream has been nominated 7 times. The problem is, that when I tried to look up what exactly they were, I could not find a definitive l...
