TD in Canada

This is wonderful news! It may be a great excuse to enjoy the long weekend in Montreal and take my family with me (my two oldest children are in the extended french program at school so this would be a worthwhile trip).

I wonder, what chance TD extending their Canadian stay with a date in Toronto?

I would love TD to play Toronto - but I get the feeling I might have to try and time a visit to England so that I can squeak in a TD show AND see the mighty AFC Bournemouth as well....

It's been 18 years since my one and only TD gig so I reckon it's time I found a way :!:

joolz, yes...she is /was married to Justin from NEWMODEL ARMY http://www.joolz-denby.co.uk/index.php?id=11 Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the same lady who used to read poetry on Mark & Lard's brilliant late-evening show circa 1995-1997? I recall she read a poem out on one of the last ...

Mmmm....each to their own! I'm not alone either, a mate of mine's female friend wanted to walk out during the Phaedra, Rubycon, Encore stuff. Having said that she loved the later tracks and thoughly enjoyed it My wife enjoyed the second half of the show more, as well. She doesn't like MFD at all an...

This is my favourite TD picture: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a76/echosnare/Iriscamaa.jpg Thank god this one hasn't got the beardy blokes & all those big machines in it...... (If this doesn't bring Gerald out of hiding, nothing will!) Can I just say "yum"? Thanks.

Tangerine Dream opened my ears and eyes and culturally broadened my mind and my attitude to the world around me. Their music calms me, rouses me and gives me comfort. During 20 odd years when I went through my teens, love & lost, got married, emigrated, had 3 kids, suffered the death of my fathe...

Not a sniff of Tangerine Dream at my local library but I do live in a small town.

I do recall that I first got my grubby mitts on TD by borring from Bournemouth Recod Library - Thief and Hyperborea. I think it was 1985? Not sure. Made one hell of an impression, though !

Well we got hit with 15cms of snow last night, so at 5:45am I was driving through unploughed roads listening to White Out, and then on the way home from work 'Stuntman'.
Both completely brilliant albums :D

If we're talking personal favourites (rather than 'best' or most innovative etc) then it's Stuntman. I connect with it on an emotional level and that's pretty much as good as any music gets! Brilliant album!

Back in 1988, I was attending the Vet center in Royal Oak, Michigan at a time when I discovered I had a major dose of PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) obviously from way too much combat in Vietnam, anyway I hooked up with this Marine who had been all but wiped out during TET of 1968 in Khe Sah...

Manic Street Preachers - Generation Terrorists - I was 18 when that came 18... time flies but it's still a good album.
