The long improv is just o.k..Good to hear.the rest of disc one is promising.The wee live disc is excellent with different versions of well known tunes.All in all a good effort.imho.

Excellent release from johannes. Some very recognisable sounds. And some beautiful passages.

The Phaedra Farewell dvd is a great one. However it is very sad to see Edgar so frail ..I dont think he ever got over the Fall which shattered his jaw. It ended quite tearfully with me. Great great music. The last concert filmed with Edgar ever.

I like the preview clip...very good IMO.

Avoid Ricochet. It has been ruined by bad mastering on pt2..the other three are superb. The best cd versions out there.

I also ended up buying the Metropolis CD :roll: Who'd be a TD fan ? ;) And now that Baumann's back on board..... there goes some more ££££ And do I care ?.....nah, not a bit. Worth every penny....been part of my life since I was in my last teenage year (1979) And hopefully will be until my final ye...

Wait till we get hammered import tax on the Japanese cds cliff. At least I hope that will be money well spent.

Got this one earlier this week. Strange mix the short tracks I think are from three oclock high. Included is Choronzon, Cinammon Road, Cycle of Eternity. A few tracks fom EF's ages. And a couple of tracks I don't recognise. one of which doesn't sound like TD at all. As a whole the cd surprisingly ho...

The last boot The Soldiier was one disc and strangley ran at just under 90 minutes. Older players will struggle to play this and I thought any more than 81 minutes would be impossible. I have a leonard Cohen boot that also runs just under 90 minutes on one disc. Plays fine too.

Last weekend was for myself and many others difficult, sad and I listened to Edgars music in a way I never did before. It was a reflective kind of listening. On occasions uplifting on others a tear came. The mala kunia cup disc track magalmasala at about 2.20 in has the most beautiful melody and alt...

One thing I noticed with edgars passing is it brought us all together. I was deeply moved byall the words written about the man.
