RIP Conrad Schnitzler

:(

Just read that Conrad apparently passed away on the 4th from cancer:

:(

He will be missed, a very important presence on the experimental music scene (Zodiak Free Arts Lab, Kluster, early TD).

He was of course on TD's debut album - Electronic Meditation.

... What I'm unsure though is whether the 40 minute recording is in fact the entire concert? ... For example, after the announcer speaks, the music suddenly starts at the beginning, there is no audience applause at that point. Comparing to other 1973 concerts, for example Les Ponts de Cé and Saint ...

I recently bought this DVD after watching it on Youtube. Excellent documentary, the first half covers the background to EM and the German scene at the time, extremely interesting. I'd say this is the best documentary I've seen on this subject and it's long too (about 3 hours). I also really enjoyed ...

Wow, sounds great. As for TD fans' desires/comments. In an ideal world the reissue of the Electronic Meditation, Alpha Centauri, Zeit and Atem will have even larger booklets, filled with more information and rare photos. The music would be mastered, and come in a nice package. Even better, if there ...

If the re-issued individual Pink Years albums have nice booklets (full of info and photos) and hopefully also mastering, I may well buy those albums again.
