Re: TD at The Barbican, London

:? Very strange because when I looked last Friday the Barbican said it was sold out and so did the Ticketmaster website but now 130 odd tickets have resurfaced!! Pretty standard practice at concert venues when a show has effectively sold out. There are usually numerous 'holds' kept off sale ...

Re: The Sessions I

Does anyone find there is a lot of distortion on Track 2? Great track, but very poor recording quality....

Re: 'Quantum Gate' - Preorder - signed album formats, exclu

Definitely the first & last time I shall be ordering from Pledge. Still no QuantumGate CD. Emailed them earlier in the week - no reply. Very galling when I spotted the album itself in my local HMV!

Will stick to CDS in future!

Re: New releases Live in Szczecin CD / Starmus Festival DVD

A truly superb release. All the tracks have amazing new arrangements & the level of musicianship is excellent. One of the best concerts ever!

Re: New Farewell Tour CD & Blu Ray

This DVD is a marvellous gift to fans. The concert is wonderfully captured with excellent picture and sound quality. And what a lovely idea to include a great selection of audience shots as a tribute to the audience.

Well worth waiting for and a moving farewell on UK soil to the Great Man himself.

Re: Which is the best TD concert which you have attended?

For sheer atmosphere, and the enthusiastic audience,it would have to be the 'London Eye' concert. The weather was absolutely awful, but it did not dampen the spirit of the fans, who gave the band one of the best receptions that I ever saw, personally. Fantastic night 8) A great gig CJ! Totally agree! H...

Re: Tribute to Edgar Concert

There were many good news in the latest newsletter. In this tough time I think many also feel it helps to keep the flame burning, and the spirit of TD continuing. That is maybe also what Edgar would have wanted. Future releases will be welcome, and a tribute concert and a tribute album I am sure wi...

Re: The News About Edgar

I can only add my heartfelt thoughts to all the postings above. A truly sad loss from a unique musician & artist. I shall miss the semi-regular pilgrimages that I and one of my best & oldest friends used to undertake to spend a few hours in his company at the Shepherds Bush Empire, the Astor...

Re: New Farewell Tour CD & Blu Ray

On the night, the lack of bridging music at the Shepherd's Bush Empire gig was something I was quite disappointed by. These links have been part & parcel of the TD live experience for so long that it felt odd to have a break between each track. Jarre has always done this, but not the mighty TD. ...

Re: Concerts 2014

I think it's inevitable that a group with the lifespan of TD will have fans divided by their appreciation of various eras. Members of TD have come & gone down the years. Each one has obviously added their own individual stamp on the group's 'sound' and its hard not to have favourites. I first sa...

Re: Free download, question....

I can only echo the EB's sentiments above. A couple of years back I was having lots of trouble downloading the 'Rocking Out The Bats' mp3. After a lot of frustration on my part it turned out that the cause of the problem was my inability to properly open the zip file. Simple mistake. The customer se...

Re: Poland

For my money, the best quality release overall is the original edited Jive Electro CD. Very powerful overall, frequencies well handled. The Relativity release, although good & refreshingly complete, has always sounded a little bit tinnier to my ears - and I first heard this release many, many, ...

we do not really hate any TD music, but the LP ' LE PARC ' is pretty dire. bought this on vinyl when it first came out, only played it a couple of times. must be the best vinyl copy around nowadays, like brand new Absolutely love Le Parc. I can remember buying the vinyl release back in 1985 as soon...
