Like BERLIN, is anybody interested in a TD Fan Meet before the show near the venue on May 31 (Saturday). I am not familiar with the area. So if someone would like to set up a place for some TD Fans to meet to have some good German beers or drinks please post info here. Thank you. And hope to see all the Dream Fans on the 31st.

:)

Sounds great. Hope a local will be able to guide us to a good spot.

Just google around in the neighbourhood of th gig and search for a Irish pub or lookalike.

See you, Peter

I really don't get why Germany has to double for Ireland. Why not a German pub? Do we need a room full of ex-pats? Is it for the Irish beer? Surely if TD plays Dublin there would not be a search for a bierpalast? I guess we have to take what is near the concert. Maybe I am naive with only my second trip to Europe, but I don't get the cold shoulder for things German in Germany. i don't expect oompah music or Octoberfest but I don;t want to hear the Pogues in Offenbach either :)

Gary, this place looks good. I will be there if I make it over to Frankfurt.

I was in Offenbach yesterday and enjoyed my very first TD concert a lot.

I am not familiar with their newer material (i.e. everything after the mid 80's ). I recognized some melodies of course and I guess it was about the same setlist as Stuttgart, but I think they played 4 encores. Can somebody of you confirm the setlist?

This is Stuttgart 2014:

Set 1 (65:29)

1. Odd Welcome
2. Burning the Bad Seal
3. The Midnight Trail
4. Sorcerer Theme
5. Twilight in Abidjan
6. Hermaphrodite
7. Sleeping Watches Snoring in Silence
8. Song of the Whale, Part One: From Dusk
9. Horizon (Warsaw Gate Mix)
10. Sphinx Lightning

Set 2 (62:10)

11. Josephine the Mouse Singer
12. Logos (Extract)
13. Alchemy of the Heart
14. Grind
15. Warsaw in the Sun
16. Oriental Haze
17. Three Bikes in the Sky
18. Das Mädchen auf der Treppe
19. Marmontel Riding On A Clef
20. Trauma

Set 3-Encore (24:34)

21. Phaedra 2005
22. Arcangelo Corelli's La Folia
23. The Silver Boots of Bartlett Green

Another Question: From which album is "Arcangelo Corelli's La Folia"?

Thank you for your help.

The second encore in Stuttgart wasn't Corelli but Le Parc (L.A. Streethawk).
The encores in Offenbach were Phaedra 2005 / Darkness Veiling the Night / Le Parc (L.A. Streethawk) / The Silver Boots of Bartlett Green.
On Jacob Pertou's blog you will find more setlists.
