Would that be the 'equestrian' accident suffered by Edgar, perhaps
in the 1970's?

I'm sure I read that/mentioned in the Glasgow 'Evening Times'
newspaper preview before the Apollo gig ~ 1978.

No, AFAIK they said it was Edgar....the biography section says he can barely ride a horse (although he's been photographed on one!)

Yes it is amazing ... but on the other hand I can't help but thinking about the poor sods who have to scan this stuff in for starvation wages (probably) ...

I am right in thinking that the real reason was the promoter having financial trouble due to ELP's 1977 orchestral tour of the States?

Seems funny to me that TD, and EF in particular, would take the blame for the promoter's problems.
