[quote="ant"]:( Imagine if the Stones had split when Brian Jones died!!

I think that comparison is not quite correct. Brian Jones was not the first or second man of the Stones. Another comparison which makes more sense to me: After John Lennon died, no one seriously thought about a Beatles Re-Union anymore.

A better comparison, but still does not match the passing of EF.
He was the heart and soul behind EVERYTHING that TD has done over the years. Album covers, album concepts, song titles, concerts, arrangements...the whole lot.

Likely NOTHING was done that he did not have a great part in.

Looking forward to the PROPER album that will be released by the remaining band members.
Not too bothered about the compilation (not even thought about ordering it)

:) I was always under the impression that it was Brian Jones that formed the Stones, hence my comment. In fact it was in the papers recently that a council has had to take down a plaque to correct it because they said that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards formed the band when it was in fact Brian. :)

PS. This forum is almost completely dead. It's me and a very few others that contribute from time to time. Where are the 672 members?
Indeed a pity. Has The Zest on Facebook taken over everything?
