Must admit I was a bit disappointed when I first heard this one but only because of the total brilliance of Straatgrenze west from the same concert /series in east Berlin. However, as I've only ever played it about twice , and bearing in mind all the positive comments, it really is due for a re-list...

OK, I really thought someone would have picked me up on that, unless you all thought it wasn't funny.

OK, I wasn't being rude or opinionated, Ariel is technically a grotesk font style, as is Helvetica (originally call Haas Grotesque) I just couldn't resist, sorry

I'll get my coat!

Surprised no one has mentioned the fantastic cover by Edgar, probably one of the best TD covers ever—the use of metallic spray over sand an glue (least that's what I think) gives it a real textured and weathered look that compliments the music perfectly.

Remember discussing ricochet back in 77 with a LeD-Zep fan. He acknowledged TD as virtuosos of the sythesizer. I still concur with that opinion, a superb record and one of my desert Island disks.

Saw this tour from the front of the balcony at the Colston Hall in Bristol. I took a few mates from college and they were totally blown away by the show. The sound and choice of music was just superb. Imagine my joy when the show was released as an album. It certainly captures what it was like to s...

Totally fabulous album Memories of a wonderful record shop from my college days in the 70's where they let you play whole sides of albums. I discovered TD there and bought everything they had, including the alpha centauri / atem double album. Remember that lunch time sitting in the pub absorbing the...

Hi Rubyconesque Good and insightful posts in Chris's defence, and I'm with you on most of it I know there is a hunger from fans for Chris to return to his roots, me too if truth be known, but we just have to accept that what we like no longer holds any fascination for him. I think there is a much re...

Hi Andy No worries mate, I'm a positive genius at grabbing the wrong end of the stick. First gig, Portsmouth 1978 second half only, due to AA repair of broken windscreen on the way up from Cornwall. Faded in the memory a bit now, and so have been looking to see if a tape exists of it. Got quite a fe...

Plymouth Argyle? man! Kevin you have suffered. ;) As you mentioned the 70's, I think everyone has a rose tinted view of it. It's been said many times before, but TD have gained and lost fans every time they changed direction. In the 70's did you run into hoards of fans from the Zodiak Free Arts Lab...

I really didn't enjoy the last gig at the forum and considered that as a fan of TD for over 30 years I'd call it a day, I'm now presented with a TD gig at the Royal Albert Hall—dilemma, magnItude 10! To be honest, I haven't heard anything they've done since the forum gig, they produce too much to k...
