The BOOSTER series supposed to be a musical side reflection - a hidden TD landmark not aimed for a TD mainstream success. But sometimes things were turned upside down. The first and maybe the only time you will hear Edgar Froese performing his solo compositions created from the mid seventies until today. So many TD friends were giving us some headaches over the last months about the release of this double CD. After having the DVD out a while ago we did not run hot to print this product after the pictures of the gig and the download went on sale. But obviously we were wrong as far as people’s opinion have been concerned – so here it is! Edgar’s unique and flowing compositions with an extra fresh and new mastering! The Tangerine Dream line-up gave Edgar a wonderful support at the Technical University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands on April 13th 2008. As a lot of Edgar's music had been composed during his worldwide journeys you will listen to his experiences transferred into soundscapes which are telling stories about his laptop-mini-keyboard adventures from the deserts to the oceans. So after many of you enjoyed the DVD, here comes the Double Audio Release for your timeless comfort in a different area of music – relax and listen wherever you are.

A beautiful warm late summer night it was when five musicians started one of their maybe most remarkable outdoor concerts in the City of Berlin. The so-called “Zitadelle” in the Spandau district of Berlin is more than historic in many ways. Apart from the political heritage and burdens it is also the home of thousands of bats – one of the largest community of these creatures in Europe. Within the very old walls and niches of the building they live a very WWF protected life. Therefore the band had to except a curfew by 10 pm which was rather sad because they had a lot more to say musically. But nevertheless it has been a breathtaking event for those who could attend. On this DVD you will see the whole show and some extras behind the scenes, sometimes with a laugh and sometimes with an ironic attitude. So enjoy a warm summer night’s show on a cold midwinter night.:-)

A CAGE IN SEARCH OF A BIRD - about the new mini cupdisc: “Kiev Mission” is known to most TD addicts as one of THE classical Dream tunes created back in the early 80’s. Originally you could listen to Russian sentences of planet earth specifications. Within this new production we wanted to keep the remake a bit more neutral and recorded it purely instrumental. This was hard work especially because of the sound research within TD’s classic library containing all samples from the past decades. So please listen to the past of today. You will also find on this mini cupdisc “A Cage In Search Of A Bird” - Part I + II. It’s not just the title alone being kafkaesque it´s also the music which takes you away from your daily so-called reality into the upside down alchemical world of nothing and all.
